Grenada Marine Protected Area Dive (2013)

CATS Programme Component 2 (CATS2) is built on three principal strategies:

1. The provision of advisory technical assistance over the entire range of challenges associated with the sustainable management of Marine Managed Areas (MMA) as part of Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM);
2. The provision of advisory technical assistance to MMAs towards their Sustainable Financial Management; and
3. The provision of financial assistance to selected projects at MMA sites critical for the effective operationalising of their management activities on the ground/ water.

CATS2 also supports Development Partnerships with the Private Sector (DPP) as a vehicle for achieving sustainable MMA/MPA financial management and ICZM. All CATS2 assistance is gender-sensitive.
