The Caribbean Gateway to Open Data
The Caribbean Protected Areas Gateway, a product of the BIOPAMA programme and located within the University of the West Indies under the Centre for Resource Management and Environmental Studies (CERMES), aims to integrate a diverse range of relevant protected area and biodiversity data.
This data will be public and accessible to our stakeholders and the general public.

Recent Updates and Insights
The leaf-toed gecko (Phyllodactylus pulcher) is one of these threatened species. The gecko is endemic to the island of Barbados and is critically endangered, with a dwindling population and habitat range.
